We use a specially formulated coating, or frosting, made in-house in the Huds and Toke™ factory so that these products look amazing in photos.

It is designed to look like it is a fresh human bakery product, however, it IS NOT made with sugar or fat.

This depends on what you are using the Dog chews for and what type are they? 

Australian Made products will always be better than imorted products.....  However, some products have more fat and sugar than others.  So be sure to read the ingredient lists and take note of the manufacturers recommendations.

As a general rule, Dog Treats are not a meal/food replacment.  As such, Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog's daily food intake.

Use them during training, playtime, for Boredom Busting, or just to say “I love you!”.

Ensure your puppy always has access to adequate fresh water.

Many of our treats are puppy-safe! We offer soft, bite-sized options perfect for little mouths and big learning moments. Just check the label or ask us for help choosing.

Absolutely! Treats are one of the best tools for positive reinforcement. Our low-mess, tasty treats are ideal for rewarding good behaviour quickly and effectively.

You can train your dog inside or outside.  If you use Huds and Toke No Melt Dog Treats, there will never be any stains or smudges on your carpet inside.... if you chose to train your puppy inside the house!

There are also numerous options to choose from ranging from crunchy little bites to be given in the moment and then move on quickly to larger more decadent rewards which allow them to sit and enjoy the experience of chewing for a longer period after sustained good behaviour.

Look for real, natural ingredients like oats, meat, and vegetables. Avoid artificial flavours, fillers, or excessive sugars. Huds and Toke treats are packed with goodness and no hidden junk.

Remember, Pet Dogs are Omnivors.  This means they eat both Meat, Vegetables, and grains.  In-fact, they need a balanced diet which has high fibre, protein, and other nutrients from a variety of different sources....  Very similar to us....  Hence why you will see your dog eat grass at certain times... They are lookign for fibre.

Therefore, vegetables and grains are absolutley fine for your dog to eat, especially in a treat form, as is meat products obviously!

This depends on the type of Dog Treat you choose.

For example, if you choose one of Huds and Toke™ Baked Gourmet Dog Treats which are coated with our proprietary frosting, then the answer is no.  They are not messy.

This is because we have designed this frosting to ensure it doesn't melt or smudge, unlike many others on the market, if you feed these to your pooches inside, then they will not leave nasty stains on your carpet.

However, if you choose a pure meat dog chew, then this is best given to your pup outside so they can chew, gnaw, and eat this delicious product.  

Being dehydrated meat, there is a possibility that it will get messy and potentially leave certain marks on your floor or furniture....  So it is best to feed these types of Dog Chews in an outside setting where they can feel safe and relaxed.

Remember, different dog treats can be given for different reasons,  as such, some of the things which make these products differ from one another also means they are more, or less, likely to create a potential for mess.

Be careful with imported products.  Some treatments which are required for Bio-Security purposes of imported products are harmful to your cats health.

We do not make cookies which are short-bread based.  This means our cookies are low in sugar, low in fat and low in salt.

Other Pet Treat products on the market are made on a Short-Bread Base.  This is great for humans.  Not for Pets.

Our products are Australian Made.  They are not imported cookies packaged here.  Imported cookies are made with unknown ingredients which are not always declared.

Yes. Check the best-before date on the label. Store them in a cool, dry place and reseal after opening to keep them fresh.

We have invented our own proprietary coating which covers our cookies!

It will not melt in the packet, or smudge your floor.  This coating is designed to be low in sugar, and low in fat with lots of colour so you can take awesome photos of you and your pet whilst it is still healthy for your pooch.

We designed this coating with the health of your pets in front of mind.  This coating looks like a human bakery product HOWEVER, it is made with No Sugar, and With No Fat, and definitely NO CHOCOLATE. 

It IS NOT a sugar based coating, unlike many other dog treat products on the market.  

This frosting, or coating, is unique to Huds and Toke™ and is designed specifically for the health of your pet.
